The World Trade Center conducted a virtual session on ‘Protecting Cyber health of your organization during COVID-19”. Mr. Jude Collins, Manager – Technology Risk, EY India LLP was the Speaker at the webinar. This programme discussed the importance of Cyber Security during the time of COVID 19 lockdown where most of the workforce ‘Working From Home’ through various case studies. The Webinar also discussed the key risks faced by organization at this time and also the best practices. Mr. Collins also added that there will be a new normal under the new circumstances and companies will need to operate with a re-aligned Cyber Security roadmap. He said that Coronavirus related domains are 50% more prone to be malicious as per a recent study. He also mentioned that the organizations perceived to be under the ‘pandemic-related pressure’ are targeted more by Cybercriminals. The programme was attended by IT professionals, consultants, IT department personnel and CIOs. Mr. Vivek George, Manager, WTC Kochi and Chennai also spoke during the programme.
