World Trade Centers Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai participated in the 2021 India/ APAC Regional meeting which was held virtually. Representatives from over 50 World Trade Centers in the region attended. 

Mr. Robin van Puyenbroeck, WTCA Executive Director-Business Development; Ms. Crystal Edn, WTCA Member Engagement Manager; Mr. Vijay Kalantri, Chair, AgMAC; Ms. Christina Shen, Vice Chair, Trade Services APAC MAC; Dr. Irmohizam Ibrahim, Chair, Conferences & Exhibitions APAC MAC and Ms. Catherine Lee, Chair, WTCA Foundation provided updates pertaining to Asia Pacific activities and other initiatives of Member Advisory Committees. Mr. Scott Wang, WTCA Vice President-Asia Pacific gave the regional update. Representatives of member WTCs spoke on the latest developments and activities at their Centers. Mr. Vineet Verma Managing Director, WTC Bengaluru, Kochi and Chennai represented our Centers. Mr. Hrishikesh Nair, President, WTC Chennai made a presentation on WTC Chennai.

This was followed by group discussion on “Challenges and Innovations in Post-Pandemic Era”. There were also sessions on best practices on Trade Services, Facility Operations/Development and Exhibition Facility/Services.
