Excerpts from his speech is given below

*This year's budget should be viewed in the light of a gloomy global scenario

*India in the next three years will be considered as a 'Developed Nation'

*The FM took a pragmatic view to keep the fiscal deficit under control. This will encourage more foreign investors to see India as a potential investment destination.

*The GST collection is remarkable and digitization is helping many to enroll to this tax structure

*The Government's thrust on Agriculture is heartening to see and this will create multiplier effect in the economy. Agriculture itself need to be considered as an Industry itself. India today is the largest producer of vegetables, fruits and flowers. However, lack of adequate infrastructure is a deterrent. The Millet Mission set up by the Government is welcome. The export potential of Millets will rise, and this will bring in money to the farmers which in turn spur the industrial revolution.

*Budget proposals open a lot of opportunities for trade and commerce. The formal economy of India today has increased largely due to the digitization efforts of the Government

*The new tax regime is here to stay

*Budget should be seen as a launchpad to the growth of India and FM has laid a perfect foundation
