MOU inked with WTC NDITA

WTC Bengaluru, Chennai & Kochi has signed a reciprocity MOU with WTC NDITA. The aim of the strategic partnership is to explore scopes  to enhance trade and investment in West Bengal and the states of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

At a formal occasion at Infrastructure session at the Bengal Global Business Summit at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, the MOUs were signed and exchange between Mr.Sushil Mohta, Chairman, WTC NDITA  and Mr.Vineet Verma, Managing Director, WTC Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi.in the presence of Mr.Firhad Hakim, Cabinet Minister of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs and Housing, Government of West Bengal.

While signing the MOUs, Sushil Mohta, Chairman, WTC NDITA , Chairman, Merlin Group, President, CREDAI WEST BENGAL , said, “Today is a very important day for Merlin group. We have announced here in Bengal Global Business Summit, the World Trade Center, which we are building in Nabadiganta- Salt lake, Sector-V area. We will have 4 million square foot facility consisting of offices, retail, hotel and WTC facilities including exhibition, conference hall and facilities which will be designated as World Trade Center. It's a matter of pride for all of us. And today we have signed this memorandum of understanding with WTC Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi.

We will support each other for various activities, for our members, for our business houses in our state. And in the like manner we will support their business houses and members in our state. So, World Trade Center is a very good community to promote trade and industry. And we look forward to have more of such conferences and interaction on the World Trade Center platform soon.”

“World Trade Centre , NDITA will reinforce the economic prosperity of West Bengal as well as Eastern India by forging collaboration with WTC Mumbai, Bengaluru and Noida. It will also connect international trade bodies and investors from other countries through other World Trade Center members”, added Mohta. 

Mr. Vineet Verma, Managing Director, WTC Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi, said, “At WTC Bengaluru we have a unique privilege of hosting the upcoming Global Business Forum in March 2024. We are inviting the state Govt to the event which is going to be held from 3rd  to 6th  March. We have twelve business sectors that be discussing. There's a lot of matchmaking going to happen, a lot of business to business meetings.
