As a part of “Make-In-India” initiative, MSME Development Institute in association with Laghu Udyog Bharati organized a one day Session on ZED: Zero Defect Zero Effect on 17th March, 2017. The event was supported by World Trade Center Bengaluru.

The main objectives of the program was to create proper awareness in MSMEs about ZED Manufacturing and motivate them for assessment of their enterprises for ZED rating. ZED Scheme is an integrated and holistic Certification System, which can account for quality, productivity, energy efficiency, pollution mitigation, financial status, human resource and technological depth including design and IPR both in product and process of manufacturing.
